The Flavor of Far-Off Lands

Reprinted from SPYWEEK magazine

International spies and knowledgeable gourmets alike flock to Foodmart International for all their culinary needs.
This ultra-modern supermarket is run by the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization and sells items from all member nations. Thus even the poorest countries are ensured some degree of international trade.
Though located within Jersey City, New Jersey, Foodmart International is actually a U.N. Trust Territory, not part of the U.S.A. All shoppers must pass through a security checkpoint to enter. No weapons are allowed.

Sale circulars are printed
in the languages of the U.N. Security Council members. Each circular highlights the specialties of the culture associated with the language. Here Kitty checks the Chinese circular to see if the season's first crop of durian has arrived.
